The ProFuturo Race and the Movistar Madrid Half Marathon present their official race shirts designed by Joma
The official T-shirts for its two distances have now been unveiled: the Movistar Madrid Half Marathon (21.097 kilometers with a course certified by the RFEA) and the ProFuturo race (5 kilometers), for which registration is still open. Both garments have been designed by Joma, the event’s technical sponsor.
The presentation event, held in the heart of Puerta del Sol (one of the key points of the race), was attended by Rocío Rey, sponsorship manager at Telefónica SA; Concepción Gallego (ProFuturo Foundation); Carla Fernández, events manager at Joma; and Eduardo Ajuria, president of Agrupación Deportiva Marathon, the organization responsible for the event.
Thus, all runners will receive in their race pack an exclusive T-shirt from the Toledo-based brand, a garment designed with optimized ergonomics for total freedom of movement without interfering with arm swing, breathable Micro-Mesh System technology to prevent sweat build-up and improve airflow, and thermo-sealed seams to eliminate common friction areas and avoid chafing. A set of essential features to help athletes reach the finish line on March 22.
In addition to showcasing Joma’s most advanced technologies, the T-shirt symbolizes the spirit of the city of Madrid and the race itself, featuring on the front a design that highlights the most iconic landmarks of the capital and of the course. A modern, attractive and youthful design dominated by blue and white tones.
For its part, the ProFuturo race will also feature an official T-shirt by Joma with identical characteristics. In this case, a more understated design has been chosen, along with graphics aligned with the foundation’s character and the slogan Committed to Education. This 5-kilometer race will celebrate its tenth edition, promoting quality digital education in vulnerable environments and improving academic opportunities for boys and girls.
The Movistar Madrid Half Marathon is organized by Agrupación Deportiva Marathon, Sport Life Ibérica and Atresmedia Eventos, with Movistar as the main sponsor and the institutional support of the Madrid City Council and the Community of Madrid.
