Kids Races

The ProFuturo Race was created in 2016 with a clear goal: running for education. Since then, every year we have taken to the streets of Madrid to celebrate a day full of sport and commitment focused on contributing to the ProFuturo educational program, with the aim of continuing to bring the transforming power of education, innovation and technology to children in every corner of the planet. The ProFuturo Race, open to participants aged 14 and over, will be held on Sunday, March 22 in the center of Madrid.

As a great prologue, the ProFuturo Kids Races will take place in Distrito Telefónica starting at 17:00h. on Saturday, March 21. Young runners will have the opportunity to join different events with distances adapted to their age. Registration has a symbolic cost of €1. The races are non-competitive and all children will receive the same medal to reward their participation.

Registration, limited to 500 children, will open on March 1 on the website www.carrerafundacionprofuturo.com.

Practical Information:

When: Saturday, March 21, 2026 (17-18h)

Where: Avenida Ronda de la Comunicación, s/n (Distrito Telefónica), in front of the metro entrance. Las Tablas neighborhood.

Categories and Times:

17:00 h: Category A (0-3 years) / 80 m / mixed

17:15 h: Category B (4-5 years) / 150 m / mixed

17:30 h: Category C (6-7 years) / 150 m / mixed

17:40 h: Category D (8-9 years) / 250 m / mixed

17:50 h: Category E (10-11 years) / 400 m / mixed

18:00 h: Category F (12-14 years) / 600 m / mixed

Note: Times may vary due to organizational reasons and number of participants. It is recommended to arrive at least 15 minutes before the corresponding start time next to the start arch.

Bib Pick-up:

Bibs will be collected at the Profuturo stand at the Runner’s Expo of the Movistar Madrid Half Marathon and ProFuturo Race. On March 19 from 14h to 20h, March 20 from 10h to 20h and on Saturday the 21st, the same day of the event, from 10h until 16h30.

The race is organized by Agrupación Deportiva Marathon, Atresmedia and Sport Life Ibérica, with the main sponsorship of Movistar and the institutional support of the Madrid City Council and the Community of Madrid. Joma Sport is the technical sponsor.
